What you need to know
Our client who are based in County Longford are see a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.
Having a tenured and successful background in the food manufacturing industry they are a seeking an experienced QA professional to assist in the daily functioning of quality on site.
You will be a key figure in managing the QMS system and be proactive in continual improvement.
The role will be on a Monday to Friday basis running from Monday to Thursday 9-5:30 with a 5PM finish on a Friday.
Your new job
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with supplier monitoring and control procedures.
Completion of customer specifications, questionnaires, and tender documents.
Completion of internal audits such as traceability and fabrication and follow up on any corrective actions.
Assist in new product development.
Ensure calibration of all measuring equipment is carried out.
Involvement in Training of staff in food safety procedures.
Assist in customer queries and complaint resolution.
Manage implementation and maintenance of QMS and HACCP Systems on site.
What are we looking for?
A degree in food science or a related discipline
Have senior QA experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge on auditing for retailers, BRC standards and HACCP.
Competent IT Skills.
