Matrix Recruitment is working with our client, who are based in Co.Fermanagh border to hire a Purchasing Assistant to join their team.
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for the day to day purchasing of stock for the company. You will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.
This is a Permanent role and will operate on a Monday to Friday basis. Our client is offering a competitive salary and additional benefits.
This is an immediate start.
Your new job
Assist in the day to day purchasing of stock.
Ensuring the quality of all goods and services meet the required specification.
Dealing directly with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchase of goods.
Place stock orders and deal with outstanding orders and invoice issues.
Assist in administration duties where required.
· Work closely with other departments where required.
What are we looking for?
Similar experience in a purchasing role is desirable.
Possess strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Good communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and ability to work off own initiative.
