Our client who are a well tenured medical device manufacturer in the East Galway region are seeking Production Operators to join their team.

These positions are on a contract basis, however, may progress to permanent.

Working week is Monday – Thursday, offering both day shift (6:30am to 4:45pm) and evening shift (4:30pm to 2:45am, 20% shift premium).

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Achieve the necessary production targets in both quality and quantity to meet customer satisfaction.

• Adhere strictly to written instructions, ensuring thorough completion of all tasks and appropriate documentation.

• Maintain accuracy and clarity in completing all necessary paperwork according to specified procedures and standards such as GMP & GDP.

• Acquire proficiency in various production steps and adapt to changing tasks as required.

• Collaborate effectively within the production team.

• Offer suggestions for improvement and actively engage in initiatives aimed at continuous enhancement.

• Conduct inspections of products at production workstations to ensure proper assembly and promptly address any defective items.

• Additionally, prepare equipment and conduct testing procedures as part of the production line operations.

What are we looking for?

• Candidates must obtain a leaving certificate or equivalent.

• Prior involvement in a controlled manufacturing setting would be advantageous.
