Matrix is currently recruiting for a temporary Production Operator for a leading manufacturing and innovation facility located in Wexford.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a high-performing team within a structured, safety-conscious, and quality-driven environment

The role reports directly to the Production Manager and will operate on a two-cycle shift pattern:

• Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm (2:00pm finish on Fridays)

• Evening Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm (9:00pm finish on Fridays)

Your New Job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Operating production equipment and machinery across various stages of the process

• Preparing and maintaining equipment to meet hygiene and safety standards

• Maintaining accurate batch records in line with company quality protocols

• Conducting visual and functional checks to ensure final product quality

• Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal standard operating procedures

• Safeguarding confidential product information and proprietary processes

• Supporting team performance in a collaborative, safety-first work environment

• Flexibility is key in this role; operators may be required to support additional duties as needed across different production areas.

What We Are Looking For

• A Leaving Certificate or equivalent education

• 3+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment (ideally in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical sector)

• Forklift licence/experience is very desirable but not essential

• Good computer literacy; experience with SAP or SCADA systems is a distinct advantage

• Proven ability to work in a team

• A methodical work approach with high attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
