Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Private Equity Accountant for our client, based in Limerick.
In this role, you become responsible for a client portfolio to provide a quality, end-to-end fund administration service.
This is a 12-month contract position with some potential for extension and/or permanency.
It offers a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
Key duties & responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients.
Daily client management, review and maintain calls/distributions/shareholders information.
Preparation of the valuations and consolidated calculations for private equity funds.
Preparation of the financial statements.
Prepare management accounts.
Conduct bookkeeping tasks as required.
Prepare accounts reporting pack.
Ensure all relevant filings on behalf of the client are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in the audit process as required.
Prepare and collate reports for board packs.
Fulfil additional, relevant tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
What are we looking for?
PQ or fully qualified accountant.
Experience in a busy accounting environment.
Proven knowledge of debits and credits as well as experience in the production of Financial Statements production.
A team player with a customer focus and strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Possess the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and have good communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel and Word
