Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Material Planner for our client, based in the Tipperary area.

This is a permanent day’s role.

Your new job

 Key duties & responsibilities:

• Working closing with production planning to ensure on time availability of materials. 

• Maintaining master data and Bom’s for all raw materials, packaging and ingredients. 

• Arrange transport of raw materials and liaise with transport companies.  

• Manage call offs of materials from external storage 

• Execute weekly stock holding policy 

• Monitor aging inventory on a daily basis 

• Ensure KPI’s are met – Service Levels, Inventory targets & Waste 

• Place orders for raw materials, packaging and ingredients in line with MRP requirements. 

• Expedite materials to ensure on time delivery 

• Monitor and report on supplier performance 

• Work cross functionally with R&D, operations and Commercial to manage introduction of new products 

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years’ experience in a Supply Chain Role 

• Working knowledge of MRP tools 

• Strong MS Excel skills 

• High attention to detail 

• Good communication skills 

• Team Player
