This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with on-call duties one week per month.

- 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Your New Job:
The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of all plant equipment through effective troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. This role involves working proactively to minimise downtime, uphold safety and quality standards, and support the production team in meeting performance goals.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance to minimise downtime, extend equipment life, and keep accurate records using the CMMS system.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues efficiently, including PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Operational Support & Cost Efficiency: Support production teams, use resources effectively, and take prompt action to restore equipment performance.
- Equipment & Compliance Management: Manage spare parts, maintain tools and workshops, report equipment issues, and liaise with suppliers for installations and upgrades.
- Health, Safety & Team Collaboration: Follow all safety and environmental regulations, mentor apprentices, participate in training, and communicate critical issues to the Engineering Manager.
What are we looking for?
- Relevant technical diploma, degree, or trade certification with 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems, with the ability to read technical drawings and perform electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, preventive/predictive maintenance strategies, and safety regulations including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Reliable team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, motivation, fluency in English, and a full driving licence.
