Our client who are based in County Westmeath are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

In this role you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and you will be responsible for the maintenance of production machinery on site.

Please note that this is a full-time permanent role on a Monday to Friday Day time basis.

Duties and responsibilities

• Troubleshoot effectively Electrical, Mechanical equipment.

• Carry out repairs on a reactive basis.

• Responsible for preventative maintenance on production machinery.

• Facilitate Corrective Maintenance when necessary.

• Meticulously report any downtime/quality issues

• Involvement in improvement projects and any analysis on equipment.

• Maintain focussed on production targets.

What are we looking for?

• Qualification/trade giving you the qualification to carry out maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

• Exposure to working towards production targets.

• Proactive in their approach to preventive maintenance and repairs.

• Able to work on their own initiative and take part in team projects.
