What you need to know

Our client who are a reputable company in County Offaly. Manufacturing a globally recognised product are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join their team.

As Maintenance Team Leader you will be reporting into the Maintenance and Engineering manager. You will be integral in ensuring operation lines are running efficiently and in line with regulatory and company expectations.

Please note that this is a full time Permanent role.

 

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Be involved in ensuring safe working practices and quality procedures are documented and compliant with Irish Revenue, environmental legislation, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001& FEMAS requirements.

  • Awareness and implementation of Maintenance engineering strategies.

  • Be exemplary in leading the Maintenance team professionally and personally and ensuring company values are intact.

  • Act as lead figure in the implementation of planned maintenance and Continuous improvement strategies.

  • Cross communicating with other departments such as the supply team, engineering team and technical support.

  • Integral in making sure unplanned breakdowns are seen to and permanent solutions are met.

  • Involved in the inspection, verification and recording regimes are being completed and fully compliant. Holding responsibility in ensuring Non-Conformances are tracked and rectified.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Exposure in managing a multiskilled team in fast paced manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in mentorship and providing support.

  • Strong awareness in ISO regulations and environmental legislations.

  • Ability to cross communicate effectively to other departments.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures in relation to maintenance works, lock out Tag out procedures, permit to work system, etc.
