What you need to know

Our client who are based on the Cavan/Fermanagh border are looking for Maintenance Fitters to join their team.

In this role you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and you will be responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance and Repair of equipment across the plant.

 This is a Permanent role and will operate on a Day-Shift basis. Please note this role will operate 8 AM-5:30 PM Monday to Friday.

Your new job

Duties and responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with production personnel on production issues and continuous improvement activities.

• Carry out tool changes.

• Carry out troubleshooting and repair on any poor performing equipment.

• Proactively carry out preventative Maintenance

• Provide technical feedback on the manufacturing line and make recommendations to improve efficiency.

• Keep in line with company health and safety regulations.

What are we looking for?

• Maintenance Fitter qualification is a must.

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing setting carrying out duties such as mechanical fitting, repair, and maintenance of equipment.

• The ability to work effectively in a team.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
