What you need to know:

Our client, a medical regulated manufacturing company in the Healthcare sector, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its state-of-the-art facility In Co. Roscommon.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all process equipment is maintained, always cleaned and operational.

This is a permanent position with the working hours based on a Day shift Monday to Friday basis.

Your new job

  • Responsible for the start-up, continuous operation, and shutdown of all facilities/utility’s equipment.

  • Ensure that all process equipment is maintained, clean and operational through the completion of equipment preventive maintenance checks and ensuring minimum equipment downtime is being carried out.

  • Ensure that all measuring equipment is available for use.

  • Take responsibility in providing support and training in relation processes/production as per managements direction.

  • Monitoring of data in association with company targets/KPIS and communicate these results with management.

  • Support all processes and design development projects through the completion of validations.

  • Recording and maintenance of all engineering documentations associated with the relevant systems in place.

  • Maintain a safe working environment and always ensure good housekeeping post operation.

What are we looking for?

  • Third level qualification in Quality/Engineering/Mechanical/Science is an essential.

  • Previous experience in a regulated work environment is essential.

  • Proficient in problem solving ensuring a systematic and structured approach to their duties.

  • Can be meticulous and have strong attention to detail.

  • Willing to be proactive and hands on in ensuring that Company targets/KPIS are being met.
