What you need to know

Matrix Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for our client, a leading food company based in Waterford.

You will be joining a team of people who are high performers and continually strive to succeed. You will report directly to the Logistics Supervisor/Business Manager and full training is provided.

This is a permanent role.

Your new job

  • Provide administration to Logistics department

  • Coordinate shipments and ensure all administration is completed as required

  • Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis to get information on orders

  • Forward planning of shipments and deliveries

  • Liaise with all parties (clients, suppliers, shipping companies) to agree pricing and time arrangements

  • Maintain shipping schedule and inventories

  • Produce relevant reports as required

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Business – Logistics required

  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar role

  • The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach and show initiative

  • Strong communication skills are essential.
