Matrix Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for our client, a leading food company based in Waterford.
You will be joining a team of people who are high performers and continually strive to succeed. You will report directly to the Logistics Supervisor/Business Manager and full training is provided.
This is a permanent role.
Your new job
Provide administration to Logistics department
Coordinate shipments and ensure all administration is completed as required
Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis to get information on orders
Forward planning of shipments and deliveries
Liaise with all parties (clients, suppliers, shipping companies) to agree pricing and time arrangements
Maintain shipping schedule and inventories
Produce relevant reports as required
What are we looking for?
Degree in Business – Logistics required
Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach and show initiative
Strong communication skills are essential.
