Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Insurance Sales Agent for our client based in Waterford. 

In this job, you will be responsible for providing quality customer service and converting warm leads.
This position will give you the opportunity to join a niche, dedicated team of experts where you can make your mark in the company. There will be some opportunities for growth and progression depending on performance.

This position is office-based with free on-site parking. Hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday – Friday.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Daily interaction with potential and current clients including answering queries and identifying selling cues from potential customers

• Following up on warm leads coming in from the website as well as direct calls in to the business

• Respond to customer general queries and insurance quote enquiries in a timely manner

• Recommend insurance policies that fully meets the clients’ requirements

• Administration as it relates to onboarding new customers, customer documentation and policies – there will be some administration support provided by another team member

• Maintain and log accurate customer and policy information on Relay system

• Work towards achievable performance metrics and targets

• Adhere to all mandatory compliance requirements

What are we looking for?

• Insurance qualifications or working towards qualifications would be advantageous

• 9 months+ experience in a sales-focussed position (previous insurance sales experience advantageous)

• Strong customer service and influencing skills

• Ability to work across various channels of communication with customers such as email, calls & video calls

• Commercial awareness

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficient IT skills
