What you need to know

Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Hygiene Manager for our client, based in the Kilkenny area.

You will be responsible for organising cleaning schedule & giving daily direction to the operatives.

You will report directly to the Senior Management Team and will report to the Site's Technical Manager.

This is a permanent role.

 

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure hygiene operatives adhere to H&S practices.

  • Schedule cleaning tasks.

  • Ensure all logs and documentation is up to date and audit ready.

  • Be part of the site’s HACCP team.

  • Delegate tasks & information to colleagues.

  • Ensure all production equipment is cleaned and ready for startup.

  • Assist in training Hygiene operatives in all areas of the hygiene activities.

  • Ensure the hygiene KPI targets are met.

  • Complete performance reviews.

  • Manage holidays.

  • Liaise with other departments as required, e.g. engineering, planning, operations

 

What are we looking for?

  • Hygiene experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Managing a team.

  • Experience in Quality, chemical and hygiene training.

  • An eye for detail, quality focused and results orientated.

  • Flexibility to workday and evening shifts and available to work overtime if required.
