Our client based in County Offaly are seeking a HSE Advisor to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally renowned company with a strong and expanding footprint in Ireland.

Reporting into the HSE Manager you will be a pivotal in delivering and implementing HSE policies. There will also a focus on providing auditing and training ultimately building internal competency on HSE policies and procedures.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis. The hours of work will be based on a Monday to Friday daytime basis.

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Act as an advisory and support figure in relation to HSE policies and procedures.

• Focus on HSE policies being maintained at all operational levels.

• Liaison with management on implementing HSE policies.

• Support and review of Risk assessments, ultimately focussing on identifying any uncontrolled risks.

• Facilitating local HSE committees.

• Monitoring of local HSE plans.

• Strong focus on reporting and dealing of near misses, accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices.

• Ensure the facility is compliant with local environment requirements.

What are we looking for?

• HSE orientated qualification

• Exposure to carrying out HSE coaching and training.

• Experience in an industrial, warehousing, processing environment strongly preferred.

• Exposure to lean manufacturing.

• Competent in HSE regulation.
