I am recruiting for a Graduate Engineer for our client based in Co. Offaly. Our client who is an established company in the Offaly area for 45 years, abides by being consistently innovative and always having a relationship built on integrity with their large customer base. The company is constantly adapting and has strong ethos linked with renewable energy.

As a Graduate Engineer you will be reporting to the R and D Manager where you will be involved in the company’s product development.

This is a Permanent full-time role where working hours are on a day shift pattern and on a Monday to Friday basis.

Your new job

Duties and responsibilities

• Liaise with existing Engineering staff in relation to product development on new products

• Carry out the development of ideas from concept to prototyping and carrying out testing and certification to ensure that they are ready to be released on the market

• Responsible for the controlled drawings of all products

• Work alongside Engineering staff in relation to continuous improvement of existing products

• Management of the company’s product documentation such as assembly and operating manuals and 3D models

• Carry out any ad-hoc duties as required

What are we looking for?

• A level 8 degree in an Engineering discipline

• Be proactive in their approach to product development

• Possess a methodological line of thinking to your daily duties

• Be hard working and be willing to take on board new ideas and concepts in Research and development
