You will work as a Finance Manager for our client, a growing company based in Kilkenny.

In the position, you will manage the finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth of the company.
This is a permanent job with a competitive salary package.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly management accounts and year-end financial accounts.
  • Develop and manage monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, income reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process and record all invoices.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Manage the debtor’s ledger and support creditor accounts.
  • Maintain comprehensive sales and purchase records.
  • Support ongoing financial projects and initiatives within the company.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders as required.
What are we looking for?
  • Fully qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a  senior level accounting or financial management position.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
