Our client, a very successful and well-established, FMCG manufacturing company in Co. Longford are hiring a Finance and Reporting Manager. This company has gone through a significant growth expansion over the last 2 years and was recently acquired by one of Europe’s leading companies in their specialist sector.
The Finance and Reporting Manager will have overall responsibility for the site finance function and analysing everyday/monthly financial activities. This job will have 2 direct reports. The job will report into the Finance Director. This is an exciting job opportunity.

Key duties & responsibilities:
Manage the financial accounting operations including AR, AP and GL
Prepare and publish accurate management accounts.
Statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors.
Manage net working capital and cash.
Oversee regulatory compliance (audit, tax, ESG)
Establish internal accounting processes.
Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
Maximise the effectiveness of ERP system to ensure financial KPIs are available and actioned.
Manage direct reports .
What are we looking for?
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMPA or CPA).
3-4 years Post Qualified experience working at a Senior Management level. Someone who trained in practice would be a distinct advantage.
Previous industry experience with FMCG advantageous.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Strong analytical and reconciliation ability.
Strong leadership and people management skills
Must be flexible and can work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
