Our Offaly based client is seeking a Engineering/Maintenance Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager this will be a strategic position in ensuring plant efficiency, managing planned and reactive maintenance on-site additionally managing current and future continuous improvement projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Equipment & Performance Optimisation:
Ensure all manufacturing equipment meets or exceeds established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting consistent and reliable production.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and proactively identify opportunities to enhance plant performance and improve operational KPIs.
Establish and manage performance standards across production, filling, packing, utilities, and intake processes.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
Drive a culture of reliability through strong Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) strategies, minimizing reactive maintenance and unplanned downtime.
Oversee the execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules to regulatory and operational standards.
Continuous Improvement & Systems Review:
Lead regular reviews of maintenance systems and implement continuous improvement projects using best practice engineering strategies to drive long-term sustainability and performance.
Utilise data and analytics to inform decision-making and recommend targeted performance interventions.
Team Leadership & Capability Development:
Manage and develop the Maintenance Technician group, ensuring skills training, coaching, and career development align with best industry practices.
Create and implement a structured training strategy, identifying and addressing skill gaps to enhance technical
What are we looking for?
Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Trade background Mechanical/Electrical
Mechanical and electrical knowledge of equipment, including refrigeration, conveyers and packaging
Previous experience of managing and leading maintenance teams,
Exposure to Maintenance Management systems
