Permanent/Hybrid Job based in Co. Westmeath

Your new job

Key Duties:

  • Coordinate, oversee, and execute the Trade Compliance program, specifically focusing on the Inward Processing Relief program for the manufacturing site in Ireland and other EMEA Trade Compliance programs managed by the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower.

  • Lead, optimise, manage, and coordinate the Inward Processing Relief program in compliance with current customs laws and regulatory requirements, including participation in common customs audits.

  • Act as the local contact, maintaining excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customs authorities.

  • Report to the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower lead and collaborate with the Global Trade Compliance team, supporting colleagues in EMEA.

  • Collaborate with EMEA & Global Trade Compliance colleagues to execute the Trade Compliance strategy and program, minimising risk, enhancing service, and optimising cost savings.

  • Drive improvement in compliance and business efficiency, defining, maintaining, and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs), SOPs, ICP, and training materials.

  • Assist the EMEA Trade Compliance control tower lead in assessing country compliance and capabilities, identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and recognising best practices.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain,

  • In-depth experience in Import-Export Compliance, specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU countries

  • Ability to work in large, multinational organisations.

  • Experience with ERP Oracle and SAP GTS.

  • Familiarity with complex principal business models and supply chains

  • Knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries, with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, Business Objects, and other data analysis software.

  • Self-organised, able to work quickly and accurately with minimum supervision

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
