Matrix Recruitment is seeking candidates for an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor for our engineering client based in Denmark/EU/Ireland.
You will be in a hands-on leadership role where you manage teams, safety, quality, and schedules for electrical and instrumentation work on pharma construction projects.
Your New Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Safety – You’ll oversee electricians and subcontractors, making sure all electrical and instrumentation work is carried out safely and correctly.
- Planning & Coordination – You’ll organise manpower, materials, and schedules so projects run smoothly, and coordinate with other teams (engineering, procurement, construction).
- Quality & Compliance – You’ll check that installations meet rules, standards, and client requirements, while keeping site representatives updated on progress.
- Technical Involvement – You’ll review drawings, test electrical systems, and help with risk assessments and incident investigations.
What You Need:
- 3–5 years in electrical & instrumentation (E&I) work, ideally on large industrial or pharmaceutical/life sciences projects.
- Hands-on installation and testing experience with electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Medium Voltage (MV) systems experience.
- Supervisory or team lead experience – managing electricians, subcontractors, or site crews.
- Familiarity with BIM tools (Navisworks, BIM360, Autodesk Docs) and working with construction drawings.
- ISO19650 standards knowledge (digital information management).
- Experience coordinating HSES (Health, Safety, Environment & Security) policies on-site.
- Comfortable with travel and working abroad on projects.
