Our Westmeath based client are seeking a Design Technician to join their team. The client is a well-established family run manufacturing site.

This role is a full-time permanent role, and the hours will be on a Monday to Friday day time basis.

Salary from €40,000 per annum.

Your new job

As a Design Techician you will be integral in supporting the Projects team using AutoCAD on steel frame-based projects.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Work alongside with other Engineers and Technicians in steel framed building projects.

• Attend meetings and communicate effectively with other departments to get scope on design requirements.

• Produce high quality drawings relating to the company projects.

• Revise drawing and complete standard calculations.

• Maintain quality standards.

What are we looking for?

• 2-3 years’ experience in using Auto Cad in a work environment.

• AutoCAD orientated educational qualification.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with other departments.

• Eagerness to learn 3D LGS Frame design programme.
