Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-established organisation based in the Carlow.
The role is key to supporting the finance function, with responsibility for managing the debtor’s ledger and ensuring accurate, timely collections and reconciliations.
This is an attractive credit control position with many long-standing customers who pay within the payment terms and with little chasing involved.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Carry out debtor collections in line with agreed credit terms and targets, via phone and email.
- Handle customer queries, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Issue monthly customer statements.
- Accurately post invoices to the accounting system.
- Manage and update the cash book on excel.
- Prepare monthly debtor reports and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties across the finance team as required.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a credit control role.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
