Matrix recruitment is currently recruiting for a Credit Control Team Leader for our client based in the environmental industry.

This position will report to the Credit Control Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and run the daily operations of the domestic and commercial credit control functions as well as relevant banking functions.

This is a permanent position based in Kildare.

The hours of work are 9am - 5.30pm and hybrid working options are available. 

Key Responsibilities:
The Role:

  • As a senior member of the credit control team, liaise with the relevant departments to resolve customer queries.

  • Lead the credit control functions for the domestic and commercial areas.

  • Identify and implement processes to improve customer query resolution as well as payment timelines. 

  • Manage the domestic and commercial banking function to ensure the smooth running of the function.

  • Implement processes to maintain data accuracy of debtors ledgers.

  • Coordinate debtors meetings and oversee debtors reporting, analyse variances, and recommend resolutions.

  • Lead process and system upgrades and improvements for the team.

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in and lead the performance management of the team.

The Person:

  • 3+ years in a leadership position within a credit control function involving customer care.

  • Experience in Waste, Supply Chain or Transport industries would be advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Team player, results-driven, and solutions-oriented.

  • Excellent business relationship skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CRM Tools.
