What you need to know

You will work as a Contract Accountant (12 months) for our client who are part of a group of multinational companies. You will be supporting several manufacturing entities in their Accounting reporting, as part of a Team.

The role has an attractive financial package and will be based in Tipperary for 2 days per week, balance is working from home.


Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Global/Regional reporting Teams to support transactional activities e.g., Inter-Co, Fixed Asset Reporting, Pension Accounting

  • Ensure accurate entity accounting and compliance with all control requirements

  • Establish a link between business and support groups such as Source to Settle (integration of sourcing and purchasing processes) and order to Cash (which is a set of business processes that involve receiving and fulfilling customer requests for products or services)

  • Coordinate internal and external audits for your legal entities

  • Ensure the control Framework reflects the control objectives and outcomes

  • Drive continuous improvements


What are we looking for?

  • Degree Level and Accountancy Qualification

  • Have worked in Statutory Reporting, General Accounting and month-end closing processes

  • Worked in Finance Teams in a multinational environment

  • SAP experience essential

  • Excellent Excel Skills

  • Strong ability to build relationships
