Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a- CAD/BIM DESIGN COORDINATOR for our client, based in the Leinster area.

This is a permanent role.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Produce co-ordinated 3D piping models from 2D P&IDs and General Arrangement Drawings.

• Ensure correct fittings/components are used throughout to enable accurate fabrication and constructability.

• Generate Piping Isometrics (ISOs) and verify accuracy.

• Document management using BIM360 or similar.

What are we looking for?

• 3rd Level Engineering or CAD / BIM qualification or Trades background with suitable CAD skills.

• Good working knowledge of the following: Carbon Steel, Stainless-Steel, and PVC pipe and fittings, Piping supports / Unistrut Systems, Piping fabrication and installation.

• Ability to read and comprehend piping isometrics.

• Proficient in reading P&IDs and schematics.

• Familiar with working with scans & point clouds.

• 3+ years in a minimum of one of the following software within plant / piping design: AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit MEP & AutoCAD.

Beneficial Experience:

• Navisworks

• BIM 360 or similar

• Procore, Asite, Viewpoint or similar

• Recap or other Scan2BIM software
