Our client, an expanding and long-established manufacturing company are currently seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant for their Wexford operation. You will report into the Head of Finance.
This is a contract role (6 months) with an attractive financial package.
There is a great opportunity to learn in this role. Working from home is available for 2 days per week.
Your new job:
Key duties & responsibilities:
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and post entries
Maintain the general ledger/post entries
Compare actual to budget spend and discuss with managers
Complete CSO and regulatory returns
Prepare credit checks as requested
Preparation of sales and cost of sales reports
Assist in the maintenance of fixed asset register
What are we looking for?
Part-qualified Accountant with some industry experience
Good listener, “can do-will do” attitude
Flexible, wants to learn
Strong on attention to detail
