What you need to know

Due to continued expansion our medical device client is recruiting an Assembly Team Leader. This is new a job opportunity to work with a company that is continually growing each year.

This is a permanent job based in Co. Leitrim.

Salary: €35,000.

Two cycle shifts: Morning and Evening, Monday to Friday.

 

Your new job

As an Assembly Team Leader you will be required to work and guide the team so that daily production demands and targets are met. Working in accordance with the company’s scheduled build plan, you will be responsible for ensuring products are of high quality.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Supervising the production cell to guarantee compliance with plant safety, quality/GMP, productivity, and waste management objectives, policies, and procedures.

  • Implementing continuous improvements and coordinating lean manufacturing activities in the designated area.

  • Monitoring and reviewing production efficiencies and targets through a documented visual display system.

  • Documenting and adhering to process controls in line with the validation master plan and work instructions, promptly addressing any out-of-control conditions with the support of engineering and/or management.

  • Maintaining process equipment as per procedures and accepting new equipment installations in accordance with protocols.

  • Managing new product introductions and change controls by collaborating with engineering and management for scheduling and overseeing product trials and validation builds.

  • Reviewing and approving work order packs using the document control system and/or ERP System.

  • Coordinating with the Warehouse Operator for stock maintenance and control using the ERP System and engaging in customer liaison as needed.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experience within high regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of leading teams in manual completed environment.

  • Certification in engineering or science.
