​Our client who are based in the Cavan/Fermanagh Border. Are looking for an Asphalt Surfacing Operative to join their team.

In this role you will be working within the companies Tarmac division.

This role is a Permanent opportunity and will operate on a Monday to Friday basis. The working hours will consist of 08:00AM- 17:30PM with the option of a 4PM finish on a Friday.

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate pavers, rollers, and ancillary plant in the laying of bituminous materials.

• Work effectively in a team environment and ensure as a team that the day-to-day roles are carried out in an effective manner.

• Remain Health and Safety conscious.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar environment

• Exposure to carrying out groundworks and driving machinery such as tractors would be seen as an advantage.

• Flexible and willing attitude and possess the ability to carry out physical work.
