A fast-growing business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis based in Waterford.
This is an excellent role for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Part Qualified Accountant who will gain a thorough understanding of the business with the opportunity to grow.
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
Full ownership of Company P&L
Reconciling bank, debtors, and creditors
Preparation of management accounts including Profit and loss review and analysis.
Preparation and filing of VAT returns
Accounts Payable duties including matching invoices to accruals, supplier reconciliations, monthly payment run, dealing with supplier queries etc
Accounts Receivable duties including preparing customer invoices, processing and monitoring incoming payments, dealing with customer queries etc
Preparation of annual audit file
Posting of Journals
Assisting operations with some day-to-day activities
Ad-hoc duties on request
What are we looking for?
Relevant accounts experience
Experience with Sage 50
Proficient MS skills
Be able to work under their own initiative and;
Have good interpersonal skills
