What You Need to Know
An established accountancy organisation is seeking an Accounting Technician to support its busy accounts team. This role is based in Co. Westmeath. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their accounting skills.
This is a full-time permanent position.

Your New Job
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee timely processing of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and audit-exempt companies

• Complete and file personal income tax returns on behalf of clients

• Prepare corporation tax returns in line with Revenue guidelines

• Process and submit VAT returns and VAT RTDs accurately.

• Run payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with PAYE regulations

What Are We Looking For?

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in an Irish accountancy practice

• Accounting Technician qualification.

• Strong understanding of Irish tax regulations and accounting principles

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Revenue Online System (ROS)

• Experience in both personal and corporate taxation

• Knowledge of company secretarial processes is an advantage

• Strong communication and client relationship skills
