Our client, a long-established company with multiple sites are currently seeking a SeniorManagement Accountant for their facility in the South-East.

Your new job

You will be responsible for a significant number of different aspects of management accounting activity.

Hybrid working is available at 2 days per week working from home.

You will be working very closely with the Senior Management Accountant on a daily basis.

This is a permanent role with a strong salary and benefits package.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Understand in detail all the key elements of the business sectors.

• Work closely with Commercial/Sales and Operations to build up your knowledge base.

• Identify key drivers and what needs to be achieved to meet targets.

• Analyse reasons for variances and share the financial implications with relevant team members.

• Offer advice, support, and ideas.

• Manage risk and use all the latest analytics to understand what can drive business performance.

• Understand the KPIs and digital dashboards.

• Challenge business plans and forecasts.

• Assist in business decisions in commercial negotiations and project approval.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant or relevant degree holder.

• Team player, flexible and someone who thrives on taking responsibility.

• Strong communicator, someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent IT skills and strong business acumen.
