What you need to know
We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Client Services Representative for our client, in the financial services industry, based in Limerick.

In this position, you will report into the Custody Services Team Leader, and you will be responsible for the management of client expectations and resolution of client queries. The role will also offer opportunities to take on other department initiatives and work cross-functionally in the business. Some support may be provided to more junior members of the team as required.

This is a 9-month contract position with some possibility for extension and/or permanency. The role offers a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients for custody-related queries.
  • Participate in maintaining and enhancing the service provided to the clients.
  • Liaise with clients in relation to queries and ensure a resolution is found.
  • Maintain and monitor all client data and standing instructions.
  • Gain and maintain and understanding of transition activity linked to the client to ensure a high-quality service.
  • Where relevant, identify and manage resolution of service delivery root causes.
  • Engage in proactive communication with the Investment Manager's daily contacts to assess the perceived levels of satisfaction and demonstrate a proactive service.
  • Coordinate sub-account openings as required by the Investment Manager.
  • Participate in Service Reviews as required.
  • Monitor and ensure the resolution of cash and stock exceptions.
  • Manage day-to-day funding requirements to make sure that they are in line with client standing instructions.
  • Act as an authorisation point within the team for foreign exchange and cash payment transactions.
  • Resolve all ASL situations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all company risk policies and adherence to best practice documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal partners.

What are we looking for?
  • A College or University degree is preferred.
  • Global Custody operational knowledge with proven Client Service expertise is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve various deadlines.
  • Proven teamwork skills and experience in supporting junior members of a team.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to review and resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of risk associated with the role.
