Our client, a multisite multinational organisation throughout Ireland are currently seeking a Purchasing Director for their facility in Dublin. This is a contract role and we would like candidates to be available to start within the next month. This is a great opportunity to relocate back to Ireland for those living away.

Your new job

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic projects that will support growth plans. You will be expected to create innovative strategies which deliver and add business value. There is an excellent salary on offer and also the possibility of contract extension. Expected to be on site 3 days a week and you will report into the Head of Procurement. This is a stand alone role.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Take ownership of strategic sourcing projects

• Evaluate supply risk and supplier performance

• Develop strong supplier relationships

• Take ownership of NPI, end to end

• Lead and manage the measurement and review process associated with existing and future suppliers

• Work with Regional/Global teams across the global sites

What are we looking for?

• Relevant degree holder with experience in the Pharma sector (3-5 years)

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Commercially focused and can influence sourcing decisions

• Proven track record

• Experience of working in Biologics operations would be a big advantage
