What you need to know

We are currently seeking a Project Management Assistant for our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Borris, Co. Carlow.

This is permanent, full-time role. Working hours are 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 7am – 1pm Friday. Please note, overtime may be required during busy periods.

This role involves extreme organisation and the ability to keep track of many projects. This role will best suit an individual with a background in project management or office management, who has an interest in design.

This role provides an opportunity for the right candidate to learn and progress within the company. Opportunities are available to upskill and develop.

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
 

  • Email management – continuously monitoring email inbox and replying to suppliers and clients.

  • Placing orders with suppliers and following up.

  • Keeping track of production from start to finish – updating clients on the progress of projects.

  • Updating master spread sheet for sample prices and minimums.

  • Tracking incoming packages, opening packages, and ensuring they are correct.

  • Keeping track of prices.

  • Creating production specs based on artwork created by Designer. Updating specs based on Designer’s comments.

  • Organising photoshoots – ordering packaging, organising samples, setting up display.

  • Design – editing of artwork.

  • Developing images from Clients.

  • Sample development and research.

  • Any other ad hoc duties as requested from Manager.


What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar Project Management / Office Management role essential.

  • Interest in design and artwork a strong advantage.

  • Strong ability to follow through on tasks and be accountable.

  • Attention to detail, essential.

  • Extreme organisation skills.

  • Ability to handle pressure and work towards tight deadlines.

  • Initiative to work on own.

  • Ability to learn and grow within the role.

  • Use of basic Adobe packages essential.
