Matrix Recruitment is seeking candidates for a Senior Process Projects Engineer for our manufacturing client in Wexford Town

Your New Role
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of process and capital projects – from planning to execution and commissioning.

• Collaborate across engineering, operations, and R&D teams to implement new processes and improve existing ones.

• Act as the process engineering expert in key areas like filtration, blending, and separation.

• Lead sustainability initiatives related to energy and utility efficiency.

• Provide technical support to troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions.

• Drive technology transfer and scale-up from development to production.

• Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.

What You Need:

• Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering

• 10+ years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (e.g., food, beverages, pharma)

• Strong project management skills, including managing contractors, budgets, and cross-functional teams

• Experience with automation systems (e.g., PLC, Control Net, Device Net)

• Deep understanding of process safety, regulatory frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ATEX, HAZOP, Seveso)
