We are looking to recruit a Medical Secretary/Administrator for our client in the Healthcare Sector in Portlaoise, Co. Laois
***PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL WITHIN THE AREA TO ANOTHER LOCATION. OWN TRANSPORT IS A MUST. TRAVEL EXPENSES WILL BE PAID***
This is a contract job.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing/setting up patient clinics
Processing referrals
Scheduling appointments/cancellations
Preparing patient charts & filing
Taking minutes of meetings
Liaising with medical professionals i.e. GP’s/Consultants
Monitoring department emails
Post & stationary
General administration/clerical duties relating to the department
What are we looking for?
Previous office/admin work experience in a fast-paced environment.
Previous clerical/administration experience within the public sector – advantageous
IT Skills – Word; Excel and Outlook
Exceptional typing skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Multitasking and strong organisational skills
Ability to work on own initiative and hit the ground running
