What you need to know

We are currently recruiting for a Medical Secretary (Grade III) for our client, a Public Sector Organisation.

This role is for a 3 month duration.

The role is office based in Co. Kilkenny.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Administration duties

  • Dictaphone typing

  • Manging clinics and using computerised systems

  • General administrative and secretarial support to the designated area

  • Ensure correspondence is dealt within the appropriate timeframes

  • Liaise with Multidisciplinary Teams on an ongoing basis

  • Managing queries via phone, email and in-person

  • Type, pull and file/scan all general correspondence, charts, reports and documentation in relation to the work of the department

  • Phone and reception duties

 

What are looking for?

  • Essential: Medical Secretary and Dictaphone typing experience

  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and on own initiative

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
