My client in the Public Sector is looking to hire a Medical Administrator for their facility in Naas, Co. Kildare
- This is a month to month rolling contract
- You would be available to work 35-37 hours per week Mon-Fri
- Flexibility to work 9am-1pm on a Saturday on if and when required basis
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Prepare, type, and manage clinical correspondence, reports, and referrals with accuracy and speed.
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to consultants and clinical staff
- Maintain and manage patient records and appointments using hospital systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and other departments.
- Organise and prioritise workload to meet service demands and deadlines.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist in managing clinic lists, follow-ups, and cancellations efficiently.
- Support cover for colleagues during periods of absence as required.
- Experience as a Medical Secretary
- Excellent typing skills (audio and/or copy typing preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.
- Proficient in using office software and electronic health record systems.
- Flexible and dependable, with a commitment to patient-centred service delivery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and provide occasional weekend cover.
