I am recruiting a HR Advisor for my client, a highly renowned and successful Food Manufacturing Group in Co. Cavan.  This is a new job to join an established HR team.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing HR support for the HR Department. You will work in a busy HR department working alongside the HR team and reporting into the HR Manager. Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advisory service across a number of manufacturing sites.

  • Support and guide the Investigation of employee relations issues including grievances and disciplinary matters

  • Champion and support managers with the performance review process to ensure a culture of high performance. Provide coaching to line managers in handling performance and related issues.

  • Work with line managers to establish recruitment requirements and manage and participate in the full cycle of the recruitment process, from guidance in developing job descriptions, creating job profiles, advising and designing appropriate selection methods, and participating in interviews as required.

  • Work the other HR Advisors and the HR Manager, in reviewing, updating, communicating, and implementing company policies in line with legislative changes.

  • Lead HR projects within the department by researching, designing, implementing, and delivering 'best practice' HR projects.

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time in line with your role

What are we looking for?

  • At least 4yrs+ experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.

  • 3rd level qualification in a Business / HR related discipline.

  • Strong communication (verbal & written) skills.

  • Excellent time management required.

  • Key attention to detail.

  • Strong IT skills / computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages)

  • Full clean driving license with willingness to travel throughout Ireland for work purposes.

Desirable

  • CIPD certification.

  • Manufacturing/Food industry experience.

  • Knowledge of HR systems (such as Taleo / Workday / Clockwise / Beeline / PeopleSoft) an advantage.
