You will work as a General Ledger Accountant for our client, a very successful global and rapidly evolving medical company in Co. Westmeath
As the General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts, forecasts, and financial statements. If you are looking to progress and develop your career, then this is your opportunity.

Key duties & responsibilities:
Preparation of US GAAP accounts and month-end close for EMEA region.
Presentation of financial and tax data in a timely and accurate basis.
Preparation of forecasts.
The preparation and issuance of statutory financial statements.
Liaise with local auditors to ensure accounts are filed on time and accurately.
Ensure entities are fully compliant with all relevant local law, accounting standards and filing requirements.
Responsible for compliance with VAT, tax and fiscal requirements.
Prepare the information requested by internal and external auditors.
Ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function.
What are we looking for?
Qualified Accountant with at least 3+ years’ experience ideally in a shared services centre, or US company
Strong Excel knowledge and use of SAP is advantageous.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Attention to detail is key to this role.
