Our client is looking to recruit a Project Accountant. This organisation is growing significantly, with exciting new business opportunities opening up. They are now looking to hire a Project Accountant who will join the shared services finance team.

This will suit an experienced Qualified Accountant with at least 3-4 years' experience ideally in industry or the Big Four/large practice. The Project Accountant will play a key role in the Group Finance function.

This is job is based Co. Cavan and will offer hybrid work option.   

Key Responsibilities:

• ERP Projects – support ongoing projects arising from the new ERP system and acting as the Group Finance representative, work with business teams to find a new system or business solution.

• Support to export administration, notably in dealing with Customs, both ROI and UK.

• Insurance administration for the Group from annual subscriptions to managing claims.

• Group Fixed Assets reconciliation across all group companies.

• System Access – management of system access control for ERP systems.

• General support for yearend group and statutory audit.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant with a degree and 3-4 years’ experience working in industry or Big Four or large practice. Fully proficient in MS office and ERP.
