Demand Planning Analyst

You will work as a  Demand Planning Analyst  for our client, an innovative, growing, and highly successful medical manufacturing company in Co. Westmeath 

As the Demand Planning Analyst you will work as part of a distribution/demand planning team and you will be responsible for managing inventory ordering system to ensure right product is in the right place .You will working on projects around implementing changes to improve the current processes. This is a great opportunity to take on new challenges.

This is a permanent job.

Key duties & responsibilities: 

  •  Manage the inventory ordering system to maintain target level of service for distribution center customer orders.

  • Establish and track metrics to measure progress to these goals.

  • Provide customer service support to Global Supply Chain order management and portfolio teams on issues relating to Finished goods.

  • Partners with MFG teams to identify issues that will impact product availability.

  • Develops and publishes a set of KPIs to communicate future potential In Stock Rate impacts that supports a communication process to keep stakeholders, including Management, appraised of the risks

  • Enhances and elevates existing distribution planning models & metrics.

 

What are we looking for? 

  • 3rd Level Degree in Business/Supply Chain or related discipline. 

  • At least 5+ years manufacturing experience in global supply chain/demand planning and inventory management ideally within a fast paced regulated manufacturing environment.  

  • Strong ERP MRP or DRP system experience ideally SAP, Orcale or ASCP

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially excel and access.  

  • Experience with modeling is essential

  • Experience working on process improvement projects

  • You must have strong communication, collaboration, negotiating skills along with excellent organisation/time management skills.   

  • Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment while demonstrating initiative to lead in other projects.
