Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive based in South Dublin. 1 senior position and one more junior level role (this one could suit if you are seeking a move from Personal Lines).

This position will suit you if you enjoy building up your accounts from the lead generation phase through to closing the sale.

This position is based on-site. There is commission and an attractive benefits package included. The company has a number of offices and team collaboration.  

Your new job:
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Winning new business and building relationships with clients

• Building and maintaining an understanding of your client’s needs to provide the best advice on their insurance requirements

• The role involves securing new business, renewals, and processing mid-term alterations.

• Renewals are invited in line with agreed protocols and procedures

• Building and achieving an individual Income Budget

• Working to other company upsell /cross sell targets

• Manage aged debt and premium collection

• Comply with Central Bank requirements as well as internal processes, policies and procedures

What are we looking for?

• CIP Qualified (or Grandfathered) in Commercial General Insurance

• 1-4 years’ experience in a similar role (1 senior position available and another more junior role, perhaps coming from Personal Lines)

• Conform with Fitness & Probity

• Strong market, product & technical knowledge

• Excellent attention to details, organised and have excellent communication skills

• Demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment

• Possess a can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to and embrace change
