Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Business Reporting and Planning Consultant role for our client, a global financial services company based in Limerick.

In this position, you will work within a team to support the Transfer Agency department as well as the wider business.You will be responsible for reporting, scheduling, incident review, data request response and quality checking outsourced reporting.

This role is with an employer that promotes a work-life balance.

This is a 12-month contract position with some possibility of extension or other opportunities arising going forward. The role offers a hybrid working model.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Prepare Management Information reports and conduct trend analysis.

  • Preparation and delivery of month-end reporting metrics and analytics of the department.

  • Quality checking of outsourced reporting work and assisting the offshore team if required.

  • Ongoing oversight and reporting of the incident dashboard.

  • Collate and share information and reports with key stakeholders in the business.

  • Assist in the preparation of capacity forecasts and plans.

  • Monitor, track and prepare reports on key information, metrics and analysis around on FTE movement tracking and contractor budgets.

  • Collate, analyze, and submit relevant department calculations.

  • Liaise with relevant teams in the wider business to share information around the department as well as assisting with ad-hoc requests.

  • Research and resolve inquiries as required.


What are we looking for?

  • A degree in maths, statistics, economics, computing, business, or an equivalent field of study.

  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role.

  • Previous experience in reporting, management information, or workforce planning.

  • Ability to organize, analyze, import, and export data in a structured manner.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively, and work to deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate trends in data and assist in giving presentations to key stakeholders.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and proficiency in Power BI.
