Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Accounts Assistant for our client, based in the Carlow Area.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for recording and processing all construction invoices. You will assist with the preparation of the management accounts, and year end processes.
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
Daily management and recording construction accounts payable, creditor reconciliations.
Updating internal reports and liaising with the Site Forman and QS.
Review subcontractor invoices, update register, prepare RCT contract and submit payments on ROS.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements.
Liaising with external Auditors as required.
Holiday cover for payroll processing and weekly revenue reports.
Ensure all accounting deadlines are met and all reports are complete and accurate.
What are we looking for?
5+ years experience in a similar role.
Strong numerical skills with particular attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Micropay, TMS, Microsoft Outlook and Strong Excel skills.
