What you need to know

You will work as an Accounts Assistant for our client, a hugely successful company based in Waterford.

This is a permanent position and an excellent opportunity.

Your new job

  • Ensure the accurate processing of Payroll

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable processing

  • Communicating with customers/suppliers on a regular basis

  • Submitting VAT/Tax Returns

  • Invoice Processing & Review

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Ensure all accounting deadlines are met and all reports are complete and accurate

  • Holiday cover as and when required

What are we looking for?

  • Essential: Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar role

  • Desirable: Accounting Technician qualification

  • Proficient with the MS Office suite particularly MS Excel

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team to strict deadlines, as well as on own initiative
