What you need to know
Our client a highly successful and well-established company in the financial services industry is currently seeking a Transfer Agency Fund Launch Project Consultant to be based in Limerick or Dublin.

Your new job:
Reporting to the Manager of the new business team, you will be responsible for the onboarding of new clients, funds, transitions, mergers, fund restructures, operational changes, and share classes into Transfer Agency in a timely and accurate manner. In this team, you will be involved in supporting clients to fund launch.


This position is a project approach type role, and it will include reviewing legal documents and altering fund set-ups as required.

This is a 13-month contract job with some potential for extension or other opportunities coming up. This role offers a hybrid working model.  


Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Engage in a team to support client fund launches.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their needs are understood by operational teams prior to commencement.
  • Participate in both internal and external meetings to aid in the smooth onboarding process for Transfer Agency clients.
  • Serve as a principal subject matter expert on the suite of services offered by the Transfer Agency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all Transfer Agency, and related departments, and locations are fully engaged and understand the workings of the funds and clients prior to go live date.
  • Support new business with a focus on adherence to meticulous protocols and streamlined workflows.
  • Oversee various projects from inception to approval, ensuring all requirements are gathered and met.
  • Analyze and offer proactive feedback to clients on all documentation required as part of the process.
  • Timely execution of all necessary developments, improvements, and setups.
  • Ensure clients are aware of the standard services while addressing any bespoke requests appropriately.
  • Facilitate discussions and help in reaching agreement and decision-making on pertinent matters.
  • Translate prospectus details and agreed procedures accurately into operational systems, consulting with subject matter experts and managers as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Transfer Agency systems and contribute to knowledge sharing sessions on existing and new features.
  • Contribute insights to enhance operational efficiency through process improvements.

What are we looking for?
  • 4 years+ experience in the transfer agency, with a particular emphasis on operational involvement in Transfer Agency functions.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • Skilled in reviewing Legal and Regulatory documents pertaining to Transfer Agency operations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Exhibits exceptional interpersonal, client-facing, leadership, and communication proficiencies. • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Desirable experience in comprehending and evaluating Investor-Based Performance fees.
