Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer for our client, based in the Carlow Area.

This is a permanent day’s role.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• International travel

• Travelling on business overseas when required

• Identify & meet potential & existing OEM customers

• Lead generation

• Carrying out costing calculations for tenders and customer requirements.

• Attend exhibitions

• Liaising with senior engineers within the Design Department to accurately apply technical strategy when necessary

• Provide technical sales assistance during meetings and presentations

• Preparation and analysis of contract documentation for signature

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's in Engineering or relevant technical experience in the field of Hydraulics

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role is an advantage

• Self-motivated with a good aptitude for technical concepts and numerate

• Must be outgoing and able to work with a team

• Must have excellent communication, reporting skills and strong attention to detail

• IT skills: Microsoft office suite & CAD

• Self-confident and persuasive when making sales presentation

• Full clean driving license

• Must be able to travel
