Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit an- Supplier Auditor  for our client, based in the Kildare region.

This job involves checking suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards. You'll travel to supplier sites, inspect their facilities, and help them improve if needed.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Auditing suppliers for compliance with company standards, including facilities, procedures, and systems.

• Ensuring food safety and quality in the supply chain.

• Auditing various supply commodities.

• Preparing audit reports, addressing non-conformances, and supporting supplier improvement.

• Approving, de-listing, or grading suppliers based on company standards.

• Enforcing safety standards and proper gear usage for all team members, contractors, and visitors.

What are we looking for?

• Third-level degree in food or agricultural science.

• 5+ years of auditing or quality assurance experience in the food industry, with supplier auditing experience essential.

• Certification in Lead Food Auditor or HACCP.

• Meat experience preferred.

• Knowledge of BRC, IFS, and ISO standards.

• Strong report writing skills.

• Full driver's license.

• Ability to work independently and travel internationally.
